April, 2019
- Mufti Abdul Wahab (guest khatib) gave a khutba on Friday, April 5th at AMDA. He is the head instructor at the Michigan Islamic Institute (MII) in the city of Warren.
- Delivered the 3:30 pm (2nd khutba) on Friday, April 5th on the topic: “Cultivating Love for Fellow Muslims.”
- On occasion of the Friday Night Family Event on April 5th gave a talk on the topic: ‘Invoking Blessings on Departed Souls’ followed by special dua for deceased (marhum) Br. Khairul Anam. The dinner was sponsored by the deceased’s family.
- Delivered a khatira on Saturday, April 6th on the topic: “Cultivating Love for Fellow Muslims.”
- As one of the certified speakers of the Islamic Network Group (ING), gave a lecture/presentation to the students of Oakland Community College on Thursday, April 11th from 6:00-7:40 pm on the topic: ‘Getting to Know American Muslims.’
- Delivered the 1:30 pm (1st khutba) on Friday, April 12th on the topic: “Cultivating Love for Fellow Muslims.”
- Attended the Seerah Conference: ‘Mercy to Mankind’ on Saturday, April 13th at the Cobo Center, Detroit. It was organized by the Miftah Institute.
- Communicated with Hafiz Fakhrul Islam and Hafiz Ameen Suhrawardy so that they coordinate between themselves regarding the Tarawih prayers to be lead by them during Ramadan inshaAllah. Sent them the Tarawih schedule to be followed by them so as to finish the recitation of the entire Qur’an by the 27th of Ramadan. The Tarawih, however, will continue till the last day of Ramadan inshaAllah.
- Delivered the 12:10 pm (1st khutba) on Friday, April 19th at IONA in the city of Warren on the topic: “Cultivating Love for Fellow Muslims.”
- Conducted the Quranic Arabic Classes every Wednesday and Thursday.
- Delivered a short tafsir of few verses of the Qur’an after Salat ul-Fajr every day, and after Salat ul-Maghrib every Wednesday and Thursday.
