July 2015
· Conducted the Isha prayers throughout the month of Ramadan following it with a short talk (5-7 minutes) on the salient points and themes of the surahs that were to be recited in the Tarawih that night.
· Delivered the key-note speech on the occasion of AMDA’s fundraising event on July 03 at the Balkan American Community Center in the City of Troy, MI.
· Made Dua on occasion of the Khatam Qur’an on Monday, July 13.
· Lead the Eid prayer and delivered the Eid Khutba on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr on Friday, July 17.
· Participated in the Brothers’ Halaqas held on Fridays after Asr prayers during the month of Ramadan.
· Delivered three Friday Khutbas at AMDA during the month of July.
· Participated in AMDA’s Eid Family Dinner organized at the Balkan American Community Center on Friday, July 17.
· Corresponded with Br Mohammed Alomari and AMDA’s board members regarding AMDA’s representation in the Sterling Heights Ethnic Community Committee.
· Made suggestions towards a proposal made by Br Zeeshan Rizwan regarding holding Tahajjud prayers in the Masjid every first Saturday of the month.
· Participated in a Faith-Based Security Summit organized by the Dept. of Justice at Wayne State University Law School Auditorium on Monday, July 27, 2015.
· Posted Khutba and Tafsir transcripts on AMDA’s website.
