Participated in MMCC’s 28th Annual Unity Dinner on November 2, 2014, and interacted with the Imams on the Imams Table. The Imams were invitees at the event.

Invited Shaykh Abdul Karim Yahya of ‘Beacon Foundation’ to be our guest speaker at the Friday Family Dinner event on 2nd January, 2015. Informed Br Moin Asjad about this.

Arranged a talk to be given by Shaykh Moiz Hasan on Sunday, 2nd November after Maghrib prayers in the Masjid.

Wrote to sisters who are students of our Arabic Class to invite Alimah Sobia Hasan, founder of the ‘Maryam Institute’ to our Masjid for addressing them in an exclusive Sisters’ Halaqa. Also encouraged the sisters to try to increase their knowledge of Islam.

Arranged with Zaman International—a humanitarian organization, to pick up the boxes and bags containing garments, blankets and warm clothing donated by the community and stored in our Masjid.

Participated in the Youth event (talk by Sheikh Ishtiaq Ahmed after Maghrib prayers) in the Masjid on Saturday, November 8, 2014.

Participated in the Imams council Meeting on Wednesday November 12 at the Islamic Institute of Knowledge (IIK) in Dearborn.

Delivered the weekly Friday khutbas.

Edited and emailed transcripts of khutbas for uploading on AMDA’s website.

Scheduled new khatibs to give Friday khutbas in the Masjid.

Conducted the weekly Qur’anic Arabic Class on Thursdays in the Masjid (to be continued as a regular feature).

Delivered the weekly Saturday khatira.

Delivered a short talk on Sirah after Maghrib/Isha prayers on Tuesdays (to be continued as a regular feature).

Delivered a short talk on Tafsir after Maghrib/Isha prayers on Wednesdays (to be continued as a regular feature).

Recited a few verses from the Qur’an and read their translations in English after Fajr prayers every day (to be continued as a regular feature).
